RD. Japan West Region, Mr. Yasuo Nishina and RD. Japan East Region Mr. Toshihiko Matsuda dared to visit Sendai YMCA three weeks after the Earthquake and Tsunami hit the area, at the time on the verge of imminent fear against "invisible enemy", Radiation-catch and frequent heavy after shock. Up there they discussed with YMCA staff how to support Sendai YMCA where is the key station to help refuges in the shelters.. After circled discussion, they came to conclusion, Five years long range plan for reconstruction is required for the time being. There might be long way to go for the areas to recover the same condition as used to be.But still anxiety there last for years to come.
